Northern Ireland leaders have called for caution as the latest relaxations on Covid-19 take effect.
From today, up to 30 people will be allowed in private homes and the requirement for viewers to sit indoors while watching the show will be removed.
However, large house parties will still not be allowed.
Additional relaxation, including restrictions on indoor dancing and the reopening of nightclubs, will apply from 31 October.
Prime Minister Paul Givan and Deputy Prime Minister Michelle O’Neill have called on people to continue to follow public health guidelines.
“Over the next fortnight, many of the last restrictions on how we interact and share will be lifted,” Mr Givan said.
“It’s an important point to reach, and it required a determined and combined effort throughout society to get this far. I am proud of a powerful, positive community spirit and a shared determination to keep everyone as safe as possible.
“While it is right that we take our hearts out of the relaxation we now allow, we must also continue our work to protect and guide progress.
“It’s a personal responsibility, and whether you’re a customer, a worker, a student or a business owner, follow the rest of the rules, even when you’re out.”
Ms O’Neill added: “With the support of the public, we have come a long way from the constraints and we can all encourage us with the cautious progress we have been able to make.
“However, we must realize that coronavirus still poses a threat to the lives, livelihoods and our healthcare system, which are facing a very difficult autumn and winter season.
“We have a collective responsibility to continue to make choices that make our community as secure as possible.
“I encourage everyone to do everything in their power to protect themselves and others; open windows and doors; wear a veil. And the evidence speaks for itself – the only most important thing you can do is get a vaccine if you haven’t already. he did so. “
